Three simulation systems run high powered simulations using CST Studio Suite® and Remcom® XFdtd®. These high-performance 3D electromagnetic (EM) analysis software packages are utilized to design, analyze, and optimize EM components and systems.

For mechanical simulations, Field Theory utilizes SolidWorks® and Abaqus®.

How We Simulate

Our virtual modeling helps devices efficiently and successfully get to market.

What Simulation Does:

Simulation allows us to visualize antenna performance without iterating new prototypes. This helps us make tweaks to optimize product development, reducing cost and time for our clients to have a complete model.

Steps Prior to Simulation:
  1. We either begin with an existing 3D model or start from the ground up
  2. Materials are assigned to the model
  3. Ports or excitations are defined
  4. Meshing is performed to refine the model for accurate simulation
  5. Boundary conditions are defined
Simulation Results:

Our comprehensive full-wave EM simulation helps determine the optimal antenna location within your product, enabling us to provide the most efficient solution for your needs. Simulation results tell us about antenna placement and surrounding components, the effects of materials used, and overall geometry.
